peter, if i owned my forum, i would simply add my company name above or in the thread  that i supply all accessories   for diy trolley systems,   in a way i find it strange, that mike does not use his own forum to sell his products, as much as the other suppliers do, when i first came here, i thought express cleaning supplies was just an advertisment until i put my courser  on to it, and it took me to micks site,

Maybe this is why this is the largest window cleaning forum in the country, the advice on here is endless and there is no biase from the owner.

another thing to remember is that you don't want a load of sticky topics stuck at the top of the page, if nothing else they also take up page space, I don't think I've looked at the sticky topics for weeks, yet I am forever looking at the latest topics even if I don't add to them.

As Peter has said, if you want to give a particular topic some exposure, simply add a reply and it is bumped up to the top of the page.

Come on guys,  you will be asking Unger to sponsor a slot on their site for Ettore next.

I think the balance of how other suppliers appear on this site is pretty d**ned good. Every one knows who they are, from that we can all glean the info about a range of suppliers and products and not just from the sponsering site. I also believe the visiting suppliers act pretty correctly in their postings and do not abuse a pretty fair amount of cooperation from Mike.

I am a member of quite a few sites - nothing to do with WC/WFP - all sponsored by a supplier/manufacture system and other supplier/manufacturers do not get a sniff at posting on those so I feel the way things work on this site is like a breath of fresh air, everything seems pretty open and most are free to air their views and products.

Mike does a very good job in keeping the site contents open and we reap the benefits
