battery charging
« on: June 18, 2006, 08:59:18 pm »
Hi,

Can leaving a battery connected up to the charger damage the battery at all if the battery is already fully charged?.

I normally disconnect the battery when it is fully charged but just wondered if i just left it connected would it damage it at all?

Many Thanks

If your charger is not automatic, then your answer is yes, as it can buckle the plates, by causing overheating, and reduce the life of your battery.
