You need a co2 extinguisher for class b liquid fires and electrical fires.

But they are not post fire friendly so fires could reignite. So caution would be needed.

The powder extinguisher is ideal for class 1 2 and 3 fires (better for gas fires). But not ideal for electrical and can cause permanent damage to your equipment plus make a mess.

Water would be a no no

C02 would be my choice

Same as this, I've got one from my gas heater days that will stay in the van.

Diesel isn't considered flammable but a fire extinguisher is always good to have around.

Foam extinguishers best for petrol, diesel etc fires.....smothers it and prevents re ignition.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

The latest foam extinguishers are ok on electrics it’s only 12 volt  you can Evan use them on mains electrical appliances but make sure you have the right ones rated for electrical fires.
