That temperature sounds more like it!

Mayb it wasn’t unscrewed all the way out?

Now you’ve got he other problem, it’s too hot for winter time.  ;D

Is it easy to adjust the temperature down? Is there a winter setting etc.

ive not tried to turn it down yet jonny but ill have to if it gets really cold again or ill be cracking glass at them temperatures.it was scolding hot at times today.itll be great for first cleans and add ons.

theres no winter setting mate just a mixer dial at the side of the heater.its defo on full at the moment.a little turn upwards will decrease the heat.

Daz it’s not just first cleans m8 now you have it working properly you know what all the fuss is about hot,on regular cleans your almost just holding the brush over the glass very little effort needed to get them clean. If I was getting 30 degrees I wouldn’t be over the moon with a hot system once you’ve done your work a couple of times the frames will look like you’ve used colegate 😂

It's great that you have got it sorted but it would of been better if Grippatank's fitters had properly tested the install before delivering it back to you. Oliver's customer service is excellent but Grippa need to start getting it right first time. It would save them an awful lot of time and fuel.

put it this way they wont be testing a new install out without making sure its running fine WITHOUT the engine running from now on. ;D

Yes, but you should not have had to refit the mixer valve yourself in order to get the water up to a decent temperature.. Not everyone would have the intuition/luck to have tried that.

I would still be a bit concerned if you had done that yourself.  Could of made things worse if it was not under the instructions of Grippa.  They must of tested the temp on yours twice (both times they had van) and must had been fine at the time.  Seems a little strange to me.

Never had to turn mine down.  Once the hose is out the temp from brush is luke warm to warm to hot (but not scalding to touch). Depending on outside temp.
