I did! Sadly she passed away a couple of years back.
An old dear who all my customers used to give her their money for window cleaning in a cu de sac and me n my friend would finish on her house for a coffee, a sandwich and a slice of cake every four weeks without fail.
Then she insisted that all the neighbours gave a tip too when they paid her in december before we came.
She was a great old dear

Don't understand how you guys have time for it.

I go out, get my work done and come home. only time I'll accept a drink is if I'm doing a longer job like a fsg or conny and even then ill usually say no thanks.

I’m not interested in tips or biscuits or bacon. My best customer gets cleaned three times a year for a total of about 15 hours and brings in £1,795. I probably have customers with a much higher hourly rate (10 minute job for £20 etc.) but the one above is the best one.

I hardly ever take a drink as I don’t have time.

8 weekly.

I think the thread was started with a "run up to xmas" and/or "nice person" sort of feel to it.

My tea and biccy pic shows what Mrs R. puts out for me at EVERY visit; but that special biscuit which could pass for a cake was probably an Xmas extra.

Someone gave me a £40 tip, and I've had a couple of 20s - plus a fair number of the usual tips of £2 - £5.  Oh yes, - the obligatory tin of biscuits too.  No-one seems to give me booze these days. I'm fine with that as I'm not a drinker.

Do you think that's why I've only had about £10 in tips plus a box of chocolates?

I'm gluten free, so I have to pass on the biccies and cakes and just have the tea.
Last week a custy of mine got some rather expensive gluten free butter shortbread and it was particularly nice.
I just thought what a lovely thing to do.
