Same here I've got two days of Windows over due as I hurt my back and wrist followed by the freeze. I had planned on being off this week to get some other stuff out the road but still playing catch up with the guttering.

I'm looking forward to valeting the van, ripping everything out and re-doing it all. I have bought 2 x 12v motors and going lecy reels next year.

Going through all my work and sorting it into a streamline as possible, creating some new rules to work by. Like no more working on Fridays or Sundays, no less than £x per hour,. making a hot list of the worst jobs and a plan of action on them.

2017 was awesome, cant wait to see what 2018 brings!

I have a few weekly jobs, but won't be doing much apart from that. I've worked it so that I have an easy week.

First of all anyone working between crimbo and new year just because they are behind a day or two this week must be nuts. Give yourself a break man. You can only do so much. If unforseen circumstances have meant you can't get round em all it's tough they won't die because there windows are a bit dirty at crimbo.

Also anyone working on residential between crimbo and new year are nuts anyway. Every one will be at home, including kids the lot, last thing they will want is you coming round disturbing there holiday. And I don't want a house  full of people getting in my way and gorping at me when  I'm trying to  work...Give it a rest ;D

For me I'm finishing today (unless I have a change of heart in tomorrow morning) and back on the 2nd. I've had 12 days off this year holidays so I want a break.

And yes guys I'm actually 3 days behind my 4 weekly schedule and no it's not going to all get done but I'm having a break. I suppose the fact I'm not regular as clock work and quite often am a few days or a week behind  plays to my advantage here.

Anyway that's my sarnies eaten, few more houses to do and should be all done by 3pm whooooo

I'm behind by a week already due to having moved house last weekend. Sod working between Xmas and new year. I don't care for it, customers don't care in the main, those who do book me in plenty of time. If some of you are having to work to catch up a couple of days then you're not charging/earning enough or poorly organised. What about the winter emergency fund you lot used to bleat on about ? I know Daz blew his on a 5k hot water system so his hands don't get cold, but what about the rest of you ? ....Happy solstice everybody  ;)

Lol for me its just 2 days, well mostly its a day n half but my reputation is also based on being regular and reliable ( haha i know it sounds like a fibre commercial  ;D)  but for sake of working that little after xmas it aint really a big deal but it does pay a pretty penny

Finish tomorrow, back on 3rd Jan. looking forward to eating and drinking far too much and spending some quality time with the family.

I need at least 3 days recovery from new year festivities so ease myself back on the 5th with commercial only. I may take even longer off. I find January the grimmest and longest month for working. I hate it. If it wasn't for the fact my gf is salaried with only 4 weeks annual leave I'd probably spend it on a third world beach  each year.
