is there anything worse than a customer saying to you "oh is that all" after you have given them a quote. >:(
if i eat myself will i be twice as fat or will i disappear?

Mick if that ever happens again, just say to them, I could also do your frames for another £??
I have been able to increase my price this way, and the customer knows they are getting an even better deal.

One way to avoid this is to quote the first clean at its usual higher rate but just give that as the quote.  If they moan then acknowledge that it was only for the first clean and price as normal for subsequent maintenance cleans.  If they don't moan, well,I leave it to your imagination.  :)
