I would go for the Grippa as it doesn't look like something out of a 1970's nuclear plant.

There's a big price difference between the two isn't there?

It’s double the price of water works.  ???

Nearly £1000 for a powered reel with the extras in it.

I’m going for the pure freedom one in the new year, it’s cheaper and looks solid

I’ll put grippa in I think

Will update the two HD reels as well not sure yet just deciding

Like it being chainless and that it’s got a two year warrenty

I want all the vans to have same set up so whoever takes which ever van there’s no difference just identical. Also when I update vans one system moved to another to new van

Would love to try one out and see how they compare to the HD though

just ordered a Pure freedom 800 litre lay flat tank and frame with electric reel with swivel mount, its mounted so can be used from rear or side loading door

The new  self feeding reel from Waterworks looks a great idea, I have emailed them but no response as yet

I adjust the chain on my HD by making sure the screws are tight on the front of the plate, they can come loose over time and this is what can cause the chain to slip off front time to time but since doing this it’s A1. Also I give the chain a good spray of WD40 every few weeks or so they are great bits of kit a real effort saver they make your day so much easier,I can’t see anyone who uses one going back to a manual reel.
