Henry Hoover
« on: December 03, 2017, 11:43:23 am »
I stupidly used my Henry Hoover (red) to suck up some wet leaves and a small amount of water back in the summer, the hoover worked properly as I was doing this and afterwards I took the lid off dried out the insides, changed the bag and left the filter out for a couple of days to dry out.

Next time I used it it worked for about 10 seconds then stopped and I've never had any life from it since. I have checked the fuse in the plug but apart from that I'd like to ask anyone in the know whether it's beggered  beyond repair and ready for the bin or worth taking to a vac shop for repair?

The hoover was quite a new one and had little use, I have since replaced it with a newer version and bought a wet vac too.

Any advice on repair or bin would be very helpful
