Errr.... no it would earn you nothing, I could buy that, sit it on my drive,  go out every morning and tell it to go earn me money and it would just sit  there  as it’s not a sentient being..... it’s a piece of equipment .

Until I market my business to create work it will earn nothing. Saying equipment will earn you money is a marketing fallacy. What you actually mean is Marketing the benefit the equipment will give a client will give the opertunity to earn money

Some people spend nearly that on a wfp system it’s ok if you have the work for it but couldn’t buy it and then hope the work comes in for it

Plus side is on small jobs the setup time is reduced so your turn around on these would be good.

It all depends on what you want to earn and how big you want to be.
I know loads of guys who have small set ups and earn a very comfortable living, I also know people with huge set ups  who make a fortune.  Conversely I also know different people with small and large set ups who struggle.  But this is an age old problem as there will always be those that can and those who can’t.  It is down to the individual at the end.
Years ago when I was Tiling there were Tilers struggling to make a living,  yet I was the most expensive tiler in the area and had a 3 month waiting list.  The same is true today of many carpet cleaners, Pressure washing guys and floor restoration specialists.  Sad but True!

Since buying some WFP  gear I’ve earned  about 6grand cleaning facias, soffits & gutters  if I didn't have That equipment I wouldn’t have earned that 6 grand but this does not mean that the WFP has earned me 6 grand, if anything the little A5 piece of paper i stick through letterboxes has had more contribution to that 6grand.

I see it all the time people spending money on kit and it just sitting on the drive until 6 months later they admit defeat and sell It on  eBay all because they believed the attitude of ‘if they build they they will come’

Marketing creates work not machinery , buy the shiniest equipment on the market but unless you market that equipment to create work it will earn nothing

In the domestic market I would agree with you,  however, Darren is mainly after commercial work with that setup. Furthermore  he will probably be able to earn the same £6K with just  a couple of commercial jobs using that setup.  I also know people who advertise like Mad, work all the hours God Sends and still struggle to earn a living.  It is at the end of the day about working smart, doing a great job in the shortest time possible and being paid a wage that clears you a decent bottom line net profit margin.

Marketing is essential for any business and when you market well - don't turn up in a beat up old Renault Master and drag out old pumps and hoses etc and expect referrals from the customers you just haven't impressed.

People who grow their businesses properly have nothing to hide and grow credible enterprises and become useful in their local community by employing local people who spend money locally.

I have met and watched many great cleaning related businesses grow throughout my years back in the UK and I have also seen many charlatans hiding their identities, who also have no longevity in their companies although they have been on here years - makes you wonder why they claim to be experts.

All I know is when you mix with positive well off individuals you end up bettering yourself, and when you stay lurking at the bottom and being negative to others - you have not really got the message of how to live your LIFE

Back on topic, Darren I was wondering why you chose an open back vehicle rather that something like a curtain sider or enclosed van I can see how your van make everything very accessible  but  do  you think this benefit outways the fact it is open to the weather?

And your point is what? 
1) Buy a roller pump and ask those who know what to do, to show you
2) Lease a brand new van ,
3) Employ some local people from Europe ,
4) Watch some companies fail in what they do .
5)  Get some rich friends .

Never been to a soft wash demo but have viewed a few videos online.

Darran, this isn't a dig just curious, the modules you sell are all related to the application of Hypo, blending /mixing etc , the video shows various modules plus cold washer. Your other company stills promotes  render cleaning via Doff after the application of a biocide ? Why is there no Doff on this wagon ? (or did I miss that ?) On the videos promoting this 'system' no one mentions Doff ?

As a separate note are you selling  'Vac Booms' ? as I would be interested in costs,  as from spring next year we are looking to include recycling water with all of our cleaning
