So will it pull in even round corners?

My concern is it cutting out all the time whenever it detects a bit of a snag, like round corners and gates etc etc...

Yes but you want them to do that else you will burn the motor out if you're still trying to pull in the  hose , and if it's snagged then its not moving anyway.

However, my DIY one will pull round corners which is good, my question was because I wanted to know how sensitive it was, if it’s overly sensitive (I.e you have 100m out with a few tight angles) it would be annoying if it keeps stopping through ‘snag protection’.

It seems it’s ok, so that’s good.
