Also it means that that if you run out of water you can refill directly from a customers tap straight into the van tank. Those annoying customers who always like to tell you where their outside tap is located may turn out to be not so annoying after all .

The way my Facelift Comact is set up probably saves resin and saves you money buying additives as you can't add to the tank before di.So do you fill your van tank with tap water & then just purify it via the DI vessel(s) between the pump & the brush head whilst you're actually cleaning?Yes, I was lead to believe that fast filling the tank through the di was likely to shorten the life of the resin. The slower the water passes through the longer it'll last and it was said on here four years ago so it must be true!

give your vessels a good shake every couple of days that stops channels, also carry a vessel so you can top up if needed when your out - if your in a low tds area
I remember a few years back a guy on here was getting 0ppm using spent resin, he had it in a tank and let the water trickle through slowly. I cant remember now but he could have been using rainwater, and that's the way I would go if I had space. Rain from the downspout is usual between 007 to 012 ppm, if I had space I would collect every drop.
