I have been asked to clean and restore a 3 bedroom flat from dry smoke .Have little experience in this line of cleaning. any help

When you say clean and restore, what is the restore bit?
It is a specialist job and can lead to problems if you don't know what you are doing.
Are you dealing with just the fabric of the building or the contents as well?

You would be best off trying to sub it out to an experienced operator, however if you insist on giving it a go I'll try and help as much as I can.

basically what you are doing is removing the contamination ready for re-decoration.
As you say it is a dry fire in which case you should be able to remove a lot of the dry residue using soot sponges. These are latex sponges which you use to wipe down the walls ceilings etc.
After you have removed as much as possible you need to spray/wipe the surfaces with an alkaline cleaner. Trigger sprays and bales of cloths are required for this stage.
Don't forget you need to check inside all the electrical fittings etc and if nescessary clean these as well.
