Haven't been on here in ages, hope you're  all well.

I need to replace my gutter vac as it was stolen some months ago.

I need it just for residential so max height likely to be loft conversions.

Any recommendations?

I use the Skyvac industrial and love it. Industrial with carbon poles and camera. Always enough power!

Looks like a serious bit of kit but I'm looking for some cheaper options.

No worries mate.
When I visited their premises to try the different machines, the residential one was good and will clear gutters all daylong but I thought what if.....? I went for the industrial due to the extra power. Glad I did cos some of the gutters I've done are really bad.
Whatever you buy go with carbon poles as their slot lighter and when sucking all that cr$# out will be heavy!

Skyvac every day of the week mate. I’ve got the commercial one and not had any problems yet. In fact I’ve just done the hardest job today at 3 storey above a conservatory and I don’t think anything less powerful would’ve cleared it. You gets what ya pay for. Best purchase I’ve ever made!

I use the grippa compact 23 litres

Powerful enough for residential small and light enough for one person

I use my modular base sections ( very light ) as a tube sections upside down so they dont chip and the grippa nozzles fit in that way perfectly

We used it in a larger commercial nursing home where height was 7 clamped base sections Gardners #10 and was powerful enough

I prefer it to the old dishwasher 3200 watt one we have

I bought a sky vac about a month ago and have used it six times. So far I'm very impressed. The carbon poles weigh nothing, almost.

The first three jobs I checked afterwards with a ladder and it did it's job. I only wished I'd bought the camera at the same time.

I've always done gutter clearing using ladders but now I feel like when I first went over to using wfp from being trad as in 'why didn't I use this before now'.

The first two jobs and having watched the videos on youtube were still a bit of a learning curve. The last job I did this week, piece of cake. It's like most things, it takes a bit of getting used to what works best and what doesn't.
