Employee Progress
« on: October 07, 2017, 05:38:51 pm »
So this was my first full week with my new full time employee.  The busiest week of the 4 weekly cycle, and after just a few hours of training with me (he has used wfp before, on commercial cleans) we did all our work this week, didnt get behind were actually ahead every single day.  I basically monitored him cleaning every window, correcting any things he had missed out or wasn't thorough enough.  On the first day he was making mistakes on every single house, by the end of the week he was making a few minor mistakes (lack of scrubbing/rinsing/incorrect technique) probably every few hours if that maybe less.

Seen a good amount of progress in his first week already and he has gained more confidence and speed.

I thought that employing would be way more stressful, but so far it's been fairly good.  Maybe i just got a lucky start?  Things are going well, so hopefully they will stay the same.

Also signed his contracts and got his paye setup this week with accountant.  Everything is pretty much done for now.

Will keep this thread updated for those looking to employ at some stage.

lol the stressfull bit is yet to come!

Cleaning and actually doing the work is never the issue. Time keeping and sick days are usually the worst aspect.

My best advice is to not be soft if and when probles arrise.

Best of luck.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Being soft would not be a problem for me......that's why I'm unsure about employing!

But I'm ready to give it a whirl.

Nice 1 josh, glad to hear this mate, could be the making of the next lee prior??

Have you made any progress with your health situation??
