Having done over 200 first cleans since the spring, I am considering renumeration options for my team when it comes to first cleans.
At the moment they rarely do first cleans. Their work is 12 or six weekly maintenance cleans and I pay them 30% of what they bill every day OR minimum wage.
On the days they do first cleans, I currently pay them a day rate, which =
30% of what they bill daily on average.
So, in other words, for days when they are doing first cleans, they get the average of what they bill daily (times by 30%)
The problem with this is that it doesn't really incentive them to 'hit the turbos' when it comes to first cleans. I can do 4 -6 first cleans per day, but they only just manage three.
So, for days they do first cleans, I'm thinking about paying them 50% of what they bill....
So, if they do 5 £30 first cleans, they get 5x£30 = £150 x 0,5 = £75.
