Best thing for removing hard water spots
« on: September 20, 2017, 07:38:26 am »
Hi all ,
iv got a new customer who has just moved in to his new house , on the patio door , there has been a pipe leaking from above and has caused splashes on one piece of glass which have become a bit cloudy . Is there anything I could use to try and get rid ?
Cheers 👍

A good glass scrapper and some HG window cleaner or similar will take it off no problem just make sure the glass stays wet while doing it.

1 Cillit Bang
2 Viakal
3 Winsol 550

1 will get low level spots off
2 will get most stuff off
3 is acid and removes pretty much everything water splash related  (I charge £5 per pane for this and wear gloves)

I use open deacaler tablets mixed up in a bottle of di water and spray it on.

Works very well
