Don't get a Kangoo. Absolute nightmare. Slow, problematic,  badly designed. In fact don't touch a Renault anything with a bargepole. Heard about so many horror stories. Wish I still had my old Vauxhall Combo or Ford Escort vans that I picked up from the auctions. My Kangoo is "v" reg    only done 60k. Would happily swap it for a much older higher mileage reliable van any day of the week.

Totally disagree with you cleanability.

I have a kangoo w reg 38k miles not a single problem, very reliable van. My father in law only runs renault vans in his fleet also with no problems.

Its the same as everything, you only get out of it what you put into it. If the van is regularly maintained ( as mine is) you greatly reduce the risk of breakdown. I think its unfair to tar all renaults with the same brush just because you have bought a bad egg.

One last rant ;D  You mention them being slow, my van cruises at 30mph comfortably! ( which is the legal speed limit in built up areas!)

Yep maybe I've been unlucky with my Kangoo. But got a mate who is a taxi driver. All the Renaults on fleet throw up more probs than any other make.
