Pressure washer problem
« on: July 04, 2017, 05:06:14 pm »
Having recently acquired a Honda GX 160, I have discovered that it won't suck the detergent,  there is a handle on the lance, that is turned anti clockwise to pull the soap through, but the pressure reduces and nothing comes through. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

the soap hose or the main water hose, the latter is 5m

main pressure hose @ 5 meters should work fine - is there any adjustment on the chem intake ?

has you tried it with a vary nozzle set on low pressure?

Chem intake is a 5 mm clear pipe with a brass fitting on the end, that pushes into the housing, doesnt' screw. TBH Darran, Im not clued up on these machines, so you need to be pretty basic with me, cars yes, jet washes no lol
There is a green numpty below the water output, I have tried turning it with my hand but it doesn't, so might have to get some water pump pliers on it, and see what happens.
