Taking a gamble asking that question on here. I mentioned I charge £5 a panel and jaws hit the ground!   Im south yorkshire based.
So pending where you are, I would say that is spot on

Ive tried looking for the post. I think it was one of Darren's. A bungalow which had several panels on and i commented that I would charge £5 per panel.
People kinda thought that was pricey.
But your customer seemed happy to pay your asking price and if your happy with that as well, then thats all that matters really. 👍

We have a starting price of 24- for the first 1 to 4 panels ...so 1 panel or 4 its 24.....then a sliding scale upto 40 panels+ seems to work.

It is worth noting that if you do your homework and investigate why having them cleaned is beneficial to the homeowner you are then able to  be armed with the right information to sell them this service.... It is one of the only services that we as w/c sell that can have a daily/monthly/yearly impact to the customer in their pockets.

When we do insides we also market a "finance, economy, cash" clearing service.


This also has a marked effect on their finances, especially if they're not in. It usually comes as surprise when they open their next credit card statement or open kiddies piggy bank to find they've been relieved of all of their available readies.


A highly profitable yet risky add-on, as yet unadvertised on the website.

solar panel cleaning is easy money.its only like cleaning large velux windows.from my experience most of my customers dont want to pay to have them cleaned.the ones that do then prices vary depending on height,access and whether i like the customer or not.

The honest answer is it depends entirely on each individual job.
Are they on a bungalow or Three story house on a main road?
Three Panels or Three Hundred?
Is the job in your town or 50 miles away?
etc etc etc.

you could pay 200 pounds for a bull poop corse learn a ton  load of lies ,  after  doing this you will be able to flog you pan in getting 12p a panel all by joining solar stev and his band of bum licking chums hes the market leader in solar cleaning he will be along too tell you this himself very soon

or carry on and earn 5 pound a panel and do very nicely for yourself don't caring what other people charge

I charge for a normal house a min £30 for 12 panels after £3 a panel
