Don't want to patronise you but before you tried to uncouple the lance did you depress the trigger first to clear all the pressure from the machine to the gun. Just trying to help!
Will the outer coller pull back or is it stuck? If so help it move back with a hit from a well place flat head screwdriver and hammer If the coller does pull back then the, male connector is gnarled by the steel bearings of the female and become jammed, pull the coller back and give it s a good wiggle & pull. Then fit a new pair of couplings
Try spraying it with wd40 and twist and pull the collar down might help , I have had a similar thing happen and this usually works , unless the male fitting is damaged then it's more difficult to disconnect it
Happened to me lots of times, usually pick a spanner hammer or something a bit heavy, tap around the outside working around it in the end it will pop off
I got shot of all qr couplings a long time ago as were far too much hassle. They either failed, got jammed or just fell apart.
