« on: May 21, 2017, 10:07:21 am »
https://www.sitebox.ltd.uk/champion-76503-3000-psi-pressure-washer-o76503  I have looked at this, can get it for quite a  bit cheaper than that price, brand new, but just wondered if anyone has used them or heard of them. Cant find any reviews anywhere.

Where does it say its American?  The USA flag on the picture or the measurement given in USA gals ?

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸!!!!!!! ......... Look I'm American as well!! :D

At best it will be assembled in the USA maybe just imported via the USA  but like Chris says its a machine made of parts from  China

I have done some research on these Champion machines, it turns out they are not as bad as some of you say.
The new machines are manufactured in the UK,and use the Annovi pump, which is Italian.
I have a friend who used to be a service engineer for all sorts of pressure washers, and he told me Annovi are a good company, reliable pump with spares readily available. The engine is  not  listed by manufacturer, it just has Champion on the front, but as Trev said, why fit a good quality pump to a naff engine?  Im guessing this is then same company that used to manufacture motor parts?
Spark plugs, filters etc..   They are also offering a 3 year guarantee with the machine, so they must be pretty confident of its reliability.

If your wanting to save a few quid in the long run but have peace of mind that it's reliable buy a Loncin powered pw http://jetmac.co.uk/products/7-horse-power-loncin-jm-200-10-pressure-washer
Or https://www.rutlandpumps.co.uk/collections/petrol-driven-cold-pressure-washers/products/lc-16200-petrol-pressure-washer

Search for champion generators and you'll find plenty of bad reviews. I bought a crap china geny and didn't last 10 months, it actually started to fall apart quit soon. Bought a Honda from sgs engineering and it runs like new 18 months on. Remember these warranties are limited so if you buy cheap crap then the warranty will be crap and won't cover business use.

Thanks for that, but its over budget for me, I can only go to around 350,400 at the absolute max. Its only going to be an extra service that Im offering my existing customers, so won't be used every single day, like Mike does.

I hate that saying but sometimes it's true. For little things at two quid it's fine but as I said my geny didn't hold up and started to literally fall apart. The Loncin machines are obviously cheaper than honda or Briggs but my opinion is there good enough for my job.

If you want my honest opinion after purchasing a Loncin 14hp pressure washer I was not that impressed with it. Pull cord snapped due to the sharp edges of the casing cover hole it passes through.  Then the chepo pressure hose blew. Also the chepo gun/lance broke. Not to mention the poxy qr's falling apart.

Like they say you get what you pay for. lol

Apart from that Loncin engines are quite reliable for the cost but prefer to use Honda myself.
