The only bad flyer is the one that sits under the stairs or in the garage and never gets delivered.

You are selling window cleaning not children's tutoring, customers don't care that it has errors

its not to my taste but thats not to say it won't work - knock out 2k and see what comes back

FWIW

over the years I've had several designs - plain saying "need a window cleaner" to very wordy and scripted one - A6 A5 and trifolds
overall the result is roughly the same return ( some seem very successful in an area then bu@@er all the next drop

its a dark art !!

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

This is my thinking on the matter as well.
Over the many years ive found canvassing to be the best and to make sure you have a good business card, as they often will ask for one.
Never had much joy with flyers etc but im not starting out in this work, just looking at a slight expansion in some new areas where ive been working for a yr or so.
So its not a big campaign, ive now ordered just 250 which will last quite a while as im only posting several at a time.

So a quick update to show how these basic rubbish flyers judged by many are actually doing.
I posted some in a small cu de sac opposite where i was working last week.  Posted last friday (12 may) to 8 houses and just 10 minutes ago i received a phone call from one house who was on holiday when i posted n got back on sat. Ive just been and priced up and got the job.
So first time using these flyers, posted to 8 houses and got 1 result. So not bad as now i have a foot in a new part of my round ready for expansion (due to new customers word of mouth.)

Got this job due to the flyer, which gives me a footing in a new area. But i will be able to expand due to the word of mouth via this new customer.
Hope this makes it a little more clearer incase anybody else somehow gets confused

Your banking on expansion from word of mouth from 1 new clientele? Lmao good luck with that one , who needs flyers and canvassers when you've got word of mouth

This forum is full of hate. Cut the guy some slack and stop making him explain he's actions.
