why?ive never used anything apart from rubber mats in second hand vans.never had any problems with rust due to being wet etc.new van has plastic load liner.
In answer to your question. Now with warmer weather you could do it in a weekend. EBay sells kits....you buy by square meterage, includes all you need, matting, resin, gel coat etc. ....you'll need to measure up and choose what's right for your van. Typically kits come in at under £100. Search for Mark Monroe's YouTube vid on how to do it....
BedlIner is very good. A fairly safe, epoxy two pack that you shake and spray from the can. Does take about 3-5 days to fully cure though. If the metal is in good nick the coating should out last the vehicle.
ours cost us 460 which is a swb transit mk7
