Strapping stuff down in van?
« on: April 17, 2017, 11:55:58 pm »
Got an empty van so temporarily want to rachet or strap barrels etc to the wooden walls.   Shall I screw in some ringlets then rachet all my barrels etc?    How about mowers and other tools, so they don't get thrown around?

Do a Google search for "load restraint track". It needs to be fitted onto the van body's main frame structure.

You should also have eye load restraints in the floor and sides near the wheel arches to help secure loads using ratchet straps.  Unfortunately these are more designed to secure pallet loads but you should be able to get webbing that will hold you load secure.
