Screwfix No Nonsense Degreaser
« on: April 08, 2017, 06:03:14 pm »
Used this today for the first time (instead of Virosol). Diluted it 10-1 ish and used it in a backpack, left for 10mins, on a very grubby FSG clean. Very happy with the results (even on very bad soiling) and I now prefer it to Virosol. It's on offer at the moment for about £5 something for 5 litres.

Did it get rid off all the black stains that come down from the brackets

The gutters and fascias were so filthy, I couldn't see any black stains from the brackets, so I don't know. It all came up good.
It did NOT get rid of the black staining that is caused by black oxidising rubbers. What I did for those is get a 'magic eraser pad' and use a tough elastic band to attach it to a Gardiners scraper.

I was very impressed with the product, so just thought I'd share.
