can i just ask, is there a special way to get rid of spiders that have set up home in bath plug holes and anywhere else really awkward?
Can you just send some neat bleach and hot water down the plug hole, will it clear it?

it's not that i hate spiders, i have a mad phobia.
I can't go anywhere near any kind of spider, money spiders are ok though.
i'm sure the new owners won't want to share the bath with a colony of spiders (whats the collective term for spiders?)

pulling spiders legs off, errrrrr thats gross
I take it that if i hoover lots of bits of web etc then get the hot tap running, i'll clear the spider infestation.
I'll have nightmares of spiders coming out the plug hole to pounce on me.
i have disturbing visions of it already.
Its just me and lise thats doing this clean, its that manky EOT ive been on about.
I'll get lisa to do it, she has rescued me many a time from creepy crawlies. shes a bit scared of them too though.

You would have loved this one
http://www.novocastrian.net/case05.html
There were thousands of horrible black shiney spiders which scattered in every direction when the joiner lifted up a sheet of flooring. The joiners ran faster than the spiders and wouldn't come back in until we had got rid of them all. I was peeing myself

If you do try and suck them out with a vaccum, make sure you use a wet & dry vac otherwise you could find yourself in for a nasty electrical shock, rather than a spidery one
The humane way to do it would be to entice them out with some juicy flies then tread on / I mean catch them in the spider trap and put them outside.
Or if they are really big get a muzzle on them and lead them outside

I've only got a dry vac at the moment.
I'll get the hot water down the plug hole.
sorry to all spider lovers
