Hyundia 2800psi
« on: March 18, 2017, 10:13:31 am »
I'm  just starting out,  going to get a pressure washer - to be a addition to my  already existing one man band window cleaning round.
Was looking at the hyundia 2800 psi for using maybe 2/3 times a week. It says it's not for commercial use but I'm wondering if any others have used it for part time additional services.
Thanks.

I started out having a play with a second hand ryobi pressure washer with a similar spec as that. https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Pressure-Washers-Accessories/Hyundai-2800-Portable-Petrol-Pressure-Washer-HYW2500P/B00M417WE0

It did the job but took hours to do block paving compared to a better spec washer. Not to mention as it's a direct feed washer will drive you nuts if the outside tap flow is poor as won't build up to full pressure/flow.

You would be better off to get a decent spec washer straight away than mess about with something like that.

Might be worth speaking with Ben at rutlandpumps as maybe able to sort you out with a decent  used washer.
Min spec you should be looking at for block paving cleaning is 200 bar 15 lpm interpump that draws from a buffer tank. Anything better lpm wise will be a bonus as for instants a 21 lpm will be a lot quicker especially on larger areas. Word of warning best stay well clear of cheap china crap as the motors also the pumps for that matter will last 5 mins.

Bedfordshire mate, will be totally honest m/c has a small oil leak on main engine seal, doesn't effect performance just something to be aware of. its been like it for around  6 mths  ;) we use it van based so not an issue.
Hence realistic selling price
