new van trashed

well on my way home on motorway  just about to over take a caged van  when a bed base flew off hit wind screen smashed head light  thing is it is a section were it went to 2 lanes so I had no were to go  shat me sen lucky escape

I'm thinking a dash cam is the way forward.

yep got a dash cam driver put his hands up told me that he as been telling the company about it .but they have done nowt about it so I have stuck them in to the police  I wonder if I could sue them

That's what insurance is there for.

the insurance is sorted they are picking it up tomorrow its for using the van with no side gate it had been stolen of the van some time ago and never replaced  so that must be negligence knowingly using it ,it could have caused a major pile up luckily that part of the motor way is quiet at that time another hour and it may have been a different story

They should be prosecuted for driving with an unsafe load.

They probably will after the police have seen the incident on the dash cam footage.
Also with the insurance claim you should be able to claim for loss of earnings etc too.

took my van in for repair Thursday  just a matter of time before I'm back at it I am  with alexander swan  got a call this morning to say parts are on order so fingers crossed I hope it will be done early next week
