Gardiner Backpack help please
« on: March 08, 2017, 06:38:32 pm »
Help would be much appreciated guys :-)

We use a backpack as part of our equipment all the time and for quite a while the pressure is non existent, let me say this back pack has been hammered for well over a year and I did adjust the pressure switch. I don't use a tap I just switch it off at the switch.

Can I by pass the pressure switch, the flew control numpty and just have the pump running at full power constantly???
Or any other advice please
Cheers
Kris

buy a new one If you have hammered it. They aren't designed for constant use

Yeah I'm going to replace the battery, pump and a couple of switches tomorrow but I could do with a quick fix for Thursday and Friday till the parts come

By pass the controller and run the pump straight from battery
Turn up the pressure on the pumps pressure switch and the pump will run at full tilt

Not sure it'd help your pressure situation though as you should still get pressure with your controller wired in. I'd suggest you have had a few air locks...
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Cheers for the replys

Think I've figured it, think the battery has had it.

It has been a serious work horse for us though  :)
