cleanerplanner not worth £25.00 a month
« on: March 08, 2017, 05:12:35 pm »
Cleanerplanner is so slow...  can someone please recommend me something else similar?

It never seems to work at 4/5pm its so slow.... and i feel robbed paying £25.00 per month... i think they should be paying me £25.00 for the amount of time wasted trying to reload the page... I think there servers need updating or something.. :|

Anyone else had this problem ?

They have a lot of customers signed up...

10 customers per month  = £250.00  per month
100 customers per month = £2,500 per month
1000 customers per month = £25,000 per month

I think its about time they stop being tight and update there servers

All this cloud based service computing is a con.

Plus they have records of all your customers. Seems like a stupid idea to me. Would you pay me 25 a month to keep a record of your valuable  customers?

I use Act its a propper offline crm system. Secure, cheap, and not open to hackers

Aworka is much quicker and in my mind a better system for scheduling. it doesn't handle flat rate VAT well though.

That's the reason a cloud database is not worth it at all. Downtime is out of your control. Your database is too valuable to your business.

Although George is a little out dated it's still worth it and does what a sole trader needs. I paid  £50 for it eight years ago. So that has saved me £2,400 in monthly costs.  The database remains on your computer and you can place backups to your own cloud free.

I know George is not for everyone though.

I agree. Still using a PDA and pocket George as well.

for what it does for me as a program personally its worth the money, however i do agree it does need speeding up and can be extremely slow at times which gets annoying.

i find its very rarely slow.if it is i simply go back to it in an hour or so and its fine.

i wouldnt be without it.i think its miles better than george and worth the £18 a month.admin is kept to an absolute minimum.love the phone app and it saves loads of paper/ink and time. :)
price higher/work harder!

Only works out at  £1 a day complete bargain, then the tax man gives you back 40% of it, save me about £1300 a year in stamps,
When I get asked for a statement, or a job history I can find it in seconds,
Before cleaner planner I used a pad and pen for 30 years and spent hours looking for jobs
I spend more a month on coffee

Book and pen. costs peanuts and doesn't need power or the internet

There's no way I would be paying  £25 for cleaner planner...I tried it and think George is way simpler it does me fine :)

Must be the time of day. I rarely have speed issues, virtually never.
