Dreaded Mondays
« on: February 20, 2017, 07:59:08 pm »
Woke up as you do sometimes on a monday dreading the day.  Didn't have any work booked in today, and had lots of bits and bobs that needed sorting, usual business stuff which can sometimes take up your day and be mundane.

I had 2 hours free in the morning though, so thought meh, il go and canvas for a bit, even if it is light rain and wind!  Managed to pick up 4 new customers, so i thought not bad that will do i guess, it is a monday morning after all!!  Last house i knock on, turns out to be a window cleaner in local area i have heard of him before.  Long story short, he's getting tons of enquiries online, but hes now at the point where is too full too take on anymore work as he's just sacked off a lad working for him who was just messing him about and doing a bad job.  He's agreed to pass on all new work from his website to me at standard rate of 1x clean value, said he would rather get some money rather than none at all for work he cant take on.  So this could look promising, but i will wait and see what happens first.  Says, he's already got a list of 15 customers pre qualified that i can take on though.

Then i come home as electrican coming over to sort something out.  Sees that im a window cleaner, he has a big house and says he wants a window cleaner, doesn't care what the price is just get it done every month, sure thing :)

Then i go online to check my new business facebook profile which i only set up on friday, and see all my friends have shared the page, and i had 2 messages today people looking for window cleaners.  I realise facebook could be full of messers, but don't know until you try i suppose!

Overall considering it's monday and i wasn't expecting much at all, had a pretty good day really.

Watch, i will probably have a really bad today tomorrow now or something haha  ;D
