A sad loss of Ian Gourlay
« on: February 20, 2017, 10:20:18 am »
It's with a heavy heart we are letting you know of the sad loss of Ian Gourlay who sadly passed away last week. Ian was a fantastic contributor to the cleaning industry and a moderator on Clean It Up for years helping thousands.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time, the industry has lost a great one.

My condolences to the family a name very familiar to many on here, even if we never did meet.

We had our spats years ago on here, but we both grew to respect each other,  condolences to his family, his input has been missed the past few years, whilst he was not well, and will be missed in  the future.

RIP

Hi Guys

Ian and I had the 'pleasure, of moderating together on here when it was a bit like the wild west.

He was always polite  and despite a lot of abuse remained calm at least in public.

We only actually met twice but he was a very decent bloke.

RIP

I remember meeting him at the CCDO.  Lovely fella and really easy to talk to.

My condolences to his family.

67 years of age!! - it's just not fair that we should lose a genuine nice guy at such an age.
My thoughts are very much with his wife & children at this sad time
