Car washing add on

Hi lads
I was doing little bit of research into adding a mobile car washing service to my business. Has anyone any experience of this? We are currently providing reach and wash window cleaning , gutter cleaning , pressure washing and softwashing. We only have a 250 litre tank in van so steam cleaning was what interested me as a means of washing the cars externally again any thoughts? Are the 230 volt cleaners likely to be powerful enough to wash the outside of the car efficiently ?
Thanks

Best leave that to our eu migrant hand car wash friends and concentrate of what makes you the most profit surely?
I think you will find the mobile car valet service died a death years ago because of cheap hand car washes springing up everywhere.

As above. Impossible to compete with £3 car wash and £10 inside and outside clean.
Takes years to build up a well paying customer base and even then far better ways to make money. Plus it's mind numbing after so long.

mate stay away i spent ££££ set up mobile car valeting business 7 year ago yes i can make a wage out it but never get rich. I ended up doing pressure washing and last 2 years i started doing carpets hope add soft wash after doing some training and with a bit luck i can give car valeting up all together(i dont do any were near as much as i used to simply cause no money in it i can make £60-£70 for a full valet witch can take anything from 2 HALF HOURS TO 4 HOURS )

I started as a car valeter 3 years ago and still do the odd one. Profit wise it's behind every other cleaning job on this forum.
Its harder work than any other cleaning job also. Started out doing full valets for 40 quid taking 3 hours. Now I'm up to 80 quid but it's still not good enough imo.
The only reason I still do the odd one is because it ls cash which I still need as waiting for online payments for windows can be a problem for cash flow.
