Pole conversion
« on: February 04, 2017, 09:47:30 am »
I have changed most of my poles to gardiner over the last 2 years what a difference. 2 poles i had left were ionics swift + 45 and 65, the 65 is just to heavy and bendy, the 45 never got used until i changed the goose neck and brush with gardiners, what a difference! Why cant ionics see there brush and goose neck are far to heavey and spoil what is quite a good pole.

I used to have an ergolite 45 with the 18 inch commercial head on it what a nightmare to use it was like wrestling a shark on a fishing rod !!!!!! I've now got a ultimate with a supreme brush it's a pleasure to use at any height . All Ionic's poles are rubbish , ruban Reynolds at Ionic's was trying to sell me there latest pole at one of the shows in Dorset a couple of years ago I got it up to 50 feet and the clamp broke and the pole section came crashing down he was very red faced , I said I'll stick to Gardiner's thanks very much 😂😂😂😂😂😂
