FAO Dazmond (transit custom)

Think this garage is just round the corner from you, looks like a very good price for a tidy van.

It's the 310 model, so 1210 kg payload, and apart from a little dent in the rear door (which I'm sure you could get them to fix or knock a bit off the top line) it looks very tidy.

At 50,000 miles on the clock this van would last you 10 years at the mileage you do.

They also offer low rate finance so may be worth a shout.

The service history of that van looks a bit sketchy in the ad.
Not sure how accurate the ad is but it only says serviced at 26k and 48k?
If so I would stay well away, and if you study the photos carefully it looks as if they probably have had that van since the summer.
Be cautious!

The service intervals on the custom are 30000 miles or 2 years so the history isn't  sketchy .

Personally I think long intervals like that are crazy but it's still a full service history van .

Ah, I didn't know that.
I know some vehicle manufacturers give 20,000 mile service intervals but didn't know the custom was 30,000!
My wife's Citroen is 20,000 or every 2 years servicing but I always get it done every year for her even though she only does low mileage.

Custom is every 30,000 miles or two years

They also suggest an interim service every year which is basically a safety and levels check.

You don't need to have this to validate your warranty.

My custom will be 3 years old this year and will have been serviced 2 times.

2 years is miles too long in my opinion.

+1 to the time scales being too long

Balls to the 'interim' as well; for the amount it costs, full service every 10k for me
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

I serviced mine in March last year at 1 year old, it had only done 6500 miles, will service it again this  March when mileage will be around 12 000 miles.
