well my washer broke  it a copy    6.5hp   3000psi  8 or 10 ltrs min  not sure cheap washer


strings snaped  also it took ages to snap   pulled around 15 times  then gone   so i have a string now   will be having a look  tomorrow
the reason is i would of left it  but 3 cleanes have come in and  its a days work all next door to each other   i have checked the oil dipstick  full   i have always taken it to a company near by   £102  to fix but i think i can do it myself   because its not just the  string  its something inside  i will have a look tomorrow

thats what i mean i only paid  £179 brand new delivered    thing is it was a prodject that i quite like  i think a spring has broke  because when it snapped it didnt retract   some builder walked past and said you r spring gone  i have compacter the same  do you know how big the springs are  on these things  might be able to buy one from the hardware store   thats ware i got the  pull cord from

Just take the cover off as in the vid and test it first.

i will thanks  working in the morning  do it  in the afternoon  looking at the other vids  the springs   are not what i thought they were
but theres a fixing video   for springs   i will have a look at them to  do it tomorrow

Best to replace the whole coil if pull string has snapped, no need to mess about with springs. I think the whole coils are on eBay for about £15-£30

well i have replaced the cord   but the spring isnt catching on the plastic   so its not recoiling back i can only get one pull of the cord at  a time  and take front of and wind rope around again   the thing is when i do pull the cord i can hear the engine trying  to start i think maybe the oil dipstick are giving a false reading    iam going back out to halfords and get some oil  see if it works if it does i will buy this https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51IIsSMoNZL._AC_SY200_.jpg

Yes mate I know what u mean, I snapped mine and bought replacement pull string, but FFS it was a nightmare, it's a bit of a pain to sort it. I have snapped 2 in less than 2 years, go electric start next time I think.
I have my machine bolted down in van  just in front of my tank, on right side, pull cord being on the right at say 3 o'clock, in hindsight I would of angled it so the pull cord being at say 5 o'clock. I can see evidence on the plastic parts were the rope is rubbing wen pulled. But we live and learn.

I spoke with my supplier and he advised me to just pick up a whole new section with pull cord already in, it's just a case of 3 bolts off, swap over, bolts back in.

Give a pull and away u go.

Replacements are on eBay and cheap enough to do without the hassle

I'm assuming that came with a lance & pressure hose as well,  how can they make quality gear that will last  for that price??? I've just bought a couple of lances and some little knock-knacks and that came to over £200.

I think I have the same machine in my unit, (I bought it with a job lot gear) pity you Don't live closer you could have had it cheap for parts

Don't laugh but my very first washer I bought to have a play was a hardly used nearly new Ryobi 3000 psi 10 lpm  little compact washer. I paid about 200 squid if I remember correctly as was a few years back now. Was a brilliant reliable little washer fitted with a Subaru 7 hp engine but was quite slow on cleaning filthy block paving. I still have it in the lock-up and runs just as well as the day I got it.

My Honda is easy to replace the cord. I always carry a length of the same width climbing rope on the van to replace on site. Normally takes 20 mins. It's only happened once on site, I check it regular and replace before it goes to prevent wasting time on site.

Hasn't happened yet on  a washer but its only been 15 yrs 

To be fair will do use them on our outdoor vacs.. as said easy to replace in a few minutes
