the thing is you just dont know what your buying when it comes to used engines.ive no experience of this and absolutely zero confidence in buying an engine!ive never blown an engine up in 28 years of driving til now!

ill give them a ring next thursday and if they ve still not got an engine by then ill scrap it and buy another van.i only bought my golf before xmas for 5k so ill sell it(or part exchange it)and put another 4k towards it and i should get a good van for around 8k-9k.(with system and sign writing)

Why not use your emergency fund?
