I have the 310 SWB limited which has quite a high spec. If your having a 650 tank in it you'd be better going for the 310 SWB.

The sport is a 290 and a full tank and two men it's over weight by 50kg.

yes maybe but sometimes in summer i struggle to do a long day with a 500L tank(with add on jobs thrown in with regular work)and also on some commercial/large domestic days.

also ive noticed if i work at full flow i work faster but my tank can be nearly empty by 3pm!

You get to carry all your kit as well. Ive got the gutter vac in mine now, no need to unload it or re-load it whenever we do a gutter job.

I've got the med roof one, i also got the limited as it worked out cheaper due to the future value being better, I'm on a two year lease deal, to be honest ill be getting the transit next time just for a bit more room as sometimes we have 3 lads in the van

Daz do you really need a van that big for your business?
For commercial yes as will need bigger tanks and more equipment but on houses and light commercial id settle for a small/medium van thats easy to park and get on with.
Not trying to throw a spanner in the works.

i know a windy whos just bought the new connect.it seems a bit small to me for a 500L tank(he has a 400l in his)LWB too.im not impressed with them really.

also i dont want to be right on the payload limit  every day esp if its a van im going to keep  for 10+years

Go for the bigger van everytime the more water you can carry the better if you have a large tank in the van  say an 850ltr and you only need 500 your not forever worrying about having a full tank at home in your static,I just keep topping mine up every day.
