How would you reply to this request I clean 6 weekly at the moment, not keen on 3 or 4 monthly for the same price as 6 weekly but dont think custy will understand the increase? Thanks for this, my partner will pay this tomorrow. Can we move the window cleaning for this property to every 3 months please. If this doesn’t work with your rounds then every 4 months will do.
Personally I find when customers start to ask for longer periods its because they really don't want to be payingfor your service, either they can no longer afford it or having somebody keep their windows clean is low on their list of musthaves.Do what ever suits you.
About 50% our work is 12 weekly We offer 6 weekly and 12 12 weekly is about 50% more so a £30 six weekly becomes £45 for twelve weekly the savings over a year is good for the customer as many out customers look at that way like insurance costsWe then split the twelve weekers over the six weekly round half one time and the next half on six weeks it works wells as we have many larger house which are 12 weekly if I wish to balance the days then I'll make a 6 weekers six weeks late there no too bothered Any length over 12 weeks is a one off minimum charge £45 that's for a small1960 three bedroom, But my round is sizeable and I feel confident enough to work this way

Id say what it does is give the customer dirty windows for most of the year. Why customers choose 12 weekly is madness as they get dirty on 4 weeks.Fair play on your prices though £30 6 weekly. Id like to be the same as that.
good post Jonathan. I wouldn't do them for the same price at three months. Have done in the past and learnt the lesson. its like doing a first clean which will use more time and water.I have had a few requests to alter the schedule lately and usually drop them, there are plenty of six weekly customers out there.I think part of the problem may be wfp. The windows do stay clean longer due to having no soapy residue on them. But after six weeks they deteriorate quite a lot and at eight weeks they are almost back to a first clean situation.
I clean windows as often or as infrequently as the customer likes and charge accordingly. Cleaner planner makes schedule changes easy to implement.
