scrim or microfibre
« on: December 29, 2016, 09:05:43 pm »
Which do  You like best and where do you get them from?
I use a massive scrim mainly, but also a Unger micro.
I havnt got the smoothest of hands and find some microfiber cloths click and irritate my hands. No problems with scrim but they don't absorb as good.

I was looking to get a large microfiber cloth and came across loads of different types. I am guessing I use Unger smooth, but not sure.
I use them on van screen all the time.

Havnt tried those

They are better then any other clothes iv tried.
You have to be careful with the first 5 washes though, they dyed all my other microfibers red!

i use both.you still cant beat a good scrim cloth on a damp cold day.much better than microfibre cloths IMO but on a warm sunny day in summer microfibres win hands down.(no lint on glass)

i use unger grade A pre washed scrims and unger large microwipes.
price higher/work harder!

I hate the red fish scale microfibre cloths . They leave a pattern on the glass  even after excessive buffing. The blue microfibres they sell are much better. There red squeegee blades are the business too.
