As above already have a van mount with Purefreedom.... really happy with it but could do with a trolley for a few awkward jobs .... just wondering whether to go for the xline 45ltr trolley or the Purefreedom nano trolley ....? Any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks

if you need a trolley to lug around then i would say go for the lightest available, if its just a few awkward jobs that dont require a lot of water a simple backpack would do ( a bit cheaper as well). How long would those awkward jobs need cleaning to get your money back would be another thing i would be thinking about to see if its worth getting one.
A backpack would also take up less space in the van.
There is a post somewhere on here where somebody made a good trolley for about £200 all in.

If you're not going for the backpack & trolley as p1w1 suggests, I would go for Pure Freedom but that's mainly because I've used them before & have found them & their products very reliable. I have one of the older model PF trolleys.

Have X-Line got the trolley prices correct on their website? The 25L trolley is £595 + VAT whereas the 45L trolley is only £475 + VAT.

I personally would go for a pf nano as I don't like fixed tanks on a wfp trolley. That was the main reason I bought the original pf trolley years ago.

I opted for van mount with pure freedom diy system. After a yr i wanted a trolley for the odd jobs and potential render clean. I decided upon gardiner back pack and bought a folding trolley. Cheap n cheerful and wouldnt be without it. I find myself using it more than i intended, rather than mess about with an hosepipe n plant pots or heavily pooped in gardens.
Point being im using it alot but cheap trolleys dont do justice. The cost doesnt justify it for my needs tho, but if price was right the pure freedom trolley looks a solid piece of work.

I have the 5o litre PF one and they are a doddle to move about.
Very well engineered and thought out.

I've just recently got the 45 litre xline trolley and I do really like it. At £600 though it's not cheap.

If you set it up with enough hose that you don't need to move the trolley  much, then it is great in some jobs. I always found backpacks to be good but sometimes it would be frustrating running out of the 20 litres of water with a few windows to go and having to fill up again.

Only thing I'd say about the xline 45 trolley is that the handle is a bit low for us tall fellas. I'm 6"2 and have to stoop a bit to wheel it around. That's why I make sure I've got about 20 metres of hose on it so I can get lot done from one move of the trolley.

For me I wouldnt spend a lot of money on a trolley that could only take 25 litre barrels as it's just not enough water capacity to warrant the cost. The gardiner backpack has 22litre capacity and is only £100.

I've had PF trollies in the past,a bit heavy and very well made but if I was going to get another I would get the x line 45 litre  as I found 25 liters don't last that long and was always checking the level of water especially when you only had a few windows left around the back of a house.
