Yeah I know about the issues with the regenerative braking (I dont have stop/start) but you also get issues if you try and power through the CAN (basically trying to replicate the same concept as a van with twin batteries but with a relay in the middle) the dash throws up a load of lights like an Xmas tree
You can code it in as above post, therefore giving you permanent twin batteries but its a mare (reason I wanted to do it that way was once I've had enough of the van, I was tempted to convert into a mini camper or alike)
Either way, looks like I'm going for the split you have (or same sort of thing)
@boldy - looks a decent outfit, the only issue I have is that they're 'in with the plymouth branch' and not Ford in general...
If your van goes pop, they aint going to say 'ah well, the plymouth dealer said it was ok so we'll let him off and fix it...'
