I brought type 3. Mainly for the key fobs. I can make the relay myself for about a fiver.

hi mate any joy with pics of how you wired up your wireless relay yet?
hi mate any chance you can tell me how u wired it up ;)

Ill take so e oics over weekend.  Im doing another reel but with all new parts.  Using chrom e chaine and orange sprocket on black reel. PIMP MY REEL 😁

Remote Switch
You just replace a switch with the remote relay...

Hose reel
Negative wire to negative on the battery

Then a switch or relay between the red positive wire and the positive battery

If you swap motor red to negative on battery then it will spin the other way

cheers mate you dont have a photo of your wiring do you as simple as it is,my remote when i cut the feed to it when im finishing for the day and then switching back on in morning it fires up straight away so i have press the remote button to turn it off then its ok for the day, but its like plugging a tv in to the wall and it just comes on without switching it on if you understand me lol!

It looks like it could be a scam addess for returns ?. The address says Greenford UB18 7HK, just did a google search and found this

https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/UB18-7HK-post-code-SCAM/td-p/4353720/page/2

Looks like money down the drain and need to find a UK seller ?

The 2 companies i have had a problem with are usernames "unopery" and "2015happydeal"

Its not money down drain, I did have a refund from the 2015happydeal one, that was one motor. Just waiting for a response from "unopery" Ebay will have our backs whatever anyway and can pull the refund for us if need be.

Username "zsjladyshop" sent me the right motor.

On a positive note, been using my reel properly for past 2 days faultlessly. Well pleased...just need to get the other reels down (when they send the right motors  ::)roll ) the lads arent best pleased with me and this reel lol.

Bloody hell, thats weird, you got the right one from the same seller I got the wrong one from..........................anyway I've mullered it now, hoping I could get the belt shaft off to change for the 11 tooth cog. Although dearer, I'm gonna go for this. It looks like its the "quality version" if there is such a thing.........and only a few quid more.

I actually dont think its the sellers fault...although they should have checked, the last seller asked me to send a picture of the label that the motors came in, the label on the little black bag. I think theyve had a batch with incorrectly labelled motors. For the people packing the parcels, i doubt they even looked inside the black bags, and at a quick glance they are identical arent they. Easy mistake, just annoying for us...especially as i have 5 of them sat here  ::)roll lol

Yh, probs right m8, they are just coming from a distribution centre, I'll try for a refund....lol. Have you had to send yours back ?
The trouble is with that, its a 50/50 chance that you get the right one !!..................hence the 5 you had :(

Yh, if you manage to get the belt sprocket off let me know. I've tried pulling and unscrewing and can't budge it. I'm assuming it has a thread as you "could" buy it like this...........................petrol scooter don't stock it anymore with the cog ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZY1016-Electric-24-Volt-200-Watt-MOTOR-Unite-Brand-2500-RPM-Bare-Shaft-Spindle-/190795916599?nma=true&si=pr0HyAb5eaOTjBGhGWSdWpfcKzo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

and the cog, which they do sell is only 4 quid odd           http://www.petrolscooter.co.uk/sprocket-drive-11-teeth-electric-scooter-6mm.html

I've gone for this, dearer, but hopfully it will be exactly what I want and not left to chance what drive I get ?

Pin ?, what pin...lol. Mine had a circlip on top, which I got off, then assume I could either pull or screw off........................neither worked...lol, so I've asked for a refund...............hopefully they won't want it back..............but if they do it will be modified slightly !!!...pmsl  ;)

It still seems a lottery with what you get as LWC dealt with 2015happydeal and got the wrong one ?
