I wounder who makes these identical reels then without the waterworks sticker....made in the uk hmmmm I don't think so https://glazenwasserswinkel.nl/product/meerprijs-elektrische-haspel-op-nieuw-systeem/
I would have thought you could use a 24v supply with a simple voltage regulator switch to control speed then an on/off via remote. That was first attempt. How would I charge the 24v? My battery is linked to my car battery and charges via that. At moment the 12v reels in 100m in 30 seconds. If it went faster I'm worried it could pull someone or thing over if it's around a corner and I'm using remote. Also a bigger cog on the reel would give a larger ratio slowing it down
Here is link to a remote for £45 electric hose reel. It has a range of 200 metres can contril 4 things like pump and hose reel and whatever you want. Cost under £10 delivered. Mate has one and raves about it. So a motor £23Chain an sprocket about £6/12Remote under £10 Hole you all save ££££££http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-10A-RELAY-1-2-3-4-CH-WIRELESS-REMOTE-CONTROL-SWITCH-TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER-/131793343790
