So my point is why the hell are you letting them see your prices on their daily job sheets when they don't need to know.  ;D

I answered that. Because most of what they are paid is a % bonus of the amount they do each day. They also bill the customer.

How do you generate new work my Pryor ?
Just interested in how someone successful like you builds their rounds ?
You sell your house, plow all of the money in to your business for new vans, plasma screens and marketing and move back in to your mum and dads . :-X :-X :-X ;)

Leafleting and door knocking. Mostly leafleting.

After that its website and sign written vans.

Next year I plan to employ 4 full time door knockers who will leaflet at the same time.

Hope it pays off then .
We Asians would do the same but we do it the other way .
We stay in the family home and build the business and keep building it then move out and buy a big house 🏡

Lol that's funny.

I just love how the plasma screens still get so much stick. Honestly they are a great addition to the office. We have one showing the van trackers all day and the other with either music or films on if we're quiet. At the end of the day I can use mine to show the cleaners their work list for the next day ect. There great! Plasma screens are cheap these days. I think they were £300 each in the Easter sale. Plus I got the vat back. Cheap and very useful/nice to have.

Something wrong with doing that many smurf? What I'm doing seems to genuinely offend some people on here? Why is that? Why does it matter to anyone else what I do. It seems like a joke to some people but that is exactly what I've done. We are nearly at 60k a month turn over. Aiming for 75k by the end of next year.

For those that take the p out of what I've done and the fact I live with family, what sort of house do you think I will be in by the time I'm taking home 15k a month after tax? Fact is I loved my house and already had a decent business with 5 vans out. It took a lot of strength to take the risk I have this year. I doubt many on here would have the balks to attempt half of what I have. You carry on taking the p guys. It will make no difference to me.

However I'm sure if any of your workers and are up for a challenge they could quite easily turnover net what you pay them themselves working a lot less hours than you make them work. You know this is true as you use to be a sole trader too.

Lee not everyone is so money motivated as you obviously or wants to build a multivan cleaning business.
However I'm sure if any of your workers and are up for a chalange they could quite easly turnover net what you pay them themsleves working a lot less hours than you make them work.
First they have to find the work. Not easy when you're employed full time.  That even assumes they would be interested in chucking a £500 a week job whicj is more than lots of guyts on here earn - certainly in their first year or two.

I thought Lee employed window cleaners? That's like saying one roofing job a week. It's a different job.

Sunshine happens to be a mate of mine that I respect.
Anyway I am not trying to put Lee down in any way but just pointing out the potential pitfalls in his business model as apposed to the franchiser route.

That is my point Lee don't do just window cleaning if you take a look at his site

Your pointing out the pitfalls? Oh right I forgot you already employ a load of people so you know it all don't you . Lee obviously knows how to run a successful business, do you really think he needs you to point out the pitfalls? Your not advising on franchising either your just trying to put him down on what he's achieved/ achieving

Couldn't one of Sunshine's franchisees do the same then? It's all a daft argument - most people like being employed and have no interest in self employment.
