For the guys that do this what brush are you using?

Commercial ionics or something from the Gardiner range?

I have the wide ultimate to try out with 4 pencils but i was just wondering what people use?

Is it better to use a 25cm brush at height or say a 35-45cm brush?

Sounds crazy but I always prefer a slightly heavier brush on the end of the pole at those heights.
I just can't apply any pressure with lighter brushes, whereas the heavier brushes force themselves on to the glass.
The xline brush with the rinse bar is good so you can rinse on the glass, which is a must at 60ft plus.

It's slightly more awkward going window to window as you have a bit of bend, but tbh at that height whatever brush you have on the end is hard to handle in wind.
Definitely don't use the 35-45cm brushes at that height, I tried it once and it was bouncing around all over the place.

I was using a 47ft extreme with extensions but I think I will upgrade the pole now.

We working up to 70 ft on this job, we using extreme 47, 2 singles and a triple extension on it, to take it to 70ft pole - reach 74 say

I can't really see a better pole to work with at this height.

Ok Alex has the ultimate pole now which is 74 reach but is it guna be an upgrade, am not so sure. It may be a 74 ft pole in 1 but u not guna be able to work half as fast as u can with the extremes

Been discussing with Alex and that height I agree with his thoughts. Ultimate would be easier

Yes I also spoke to Alex about it before I bought the triple,

My thinking was .....
I thought about getting the ultimate but that's it maxed out at 74 ft if u working at that height u need a bit more variety and if u come across a few windows that are out of reach it defeats the object of paying over 3k for a single pole.

The 47 plus 2 singles plus triple gives a pole length of 70 ft and yes at this height it's starting to get a bend in the pole but it's easy enough to hold it, at waist height u now reach 73 but could say hold it a bit higher up ur body to gain another 2 ft say,

the option is there to add another section or 2 if required for say the odd window

There's also a guy local to me who has an iveco van with cherry picker on it, he will work for an hourly rate.
