Has anybody van mounted their Enforcer ? If so can I see some pics as to how you have done it ?

Why van mount it and lose vac power....time you've messed about with extension leads it could be off and set up.

I use an Airflex Pro custom as a van mount, It started off as a series machine and I have modified it to run in parallel with two 1650w Electro motors so it is really more like a Storm now. In its original series form I would say It would not work well as a van mount  however now it works amazingly well and even with faffing about with cords it saves a massive amount of time and runs out to 100ft regularly with no problems at all.

There is no reason an Enforcer set up in parallel should not do exactly the same thing with excellent results, My Airflex is easy to van mount as it will suck directly from a tank. The enforcer will likely need an extra pump to feed the enforcer tank from the van mounted tank.

Mounting the machine in the van has been one of  the biggest time saving exercises I have done so far. I have no doubt a real truckmount will provide even better time savings but for the tiny investment of mounting a suitable porty in a van, its hard to beat. I'm so impressed by the power an electric machine can provide my next purchase will be a Mytee escape.

Also use the auto dump.

It just saves so much time and most of my jobs use 50ft.

So you guys that mount portables, i suppose you have ramps to cover hoses into house and you run the electrics in the same way, no worries about rain on leads....? Do you run from tanks cold water, does it take a time to get to heat??Simon a truckmount user.

Its not a contest of who has more heat... vacuum... pressure ... etc its just another way of doing it.

Yes TM's are better!

Truck mounted porties are actually quite good now though.

ps, Heat can be supplied via a electrically preheated van mounted tank boosted with an inline heater providing up to 110 C of heat depending on what is needed.

Much better way would be to take porty off but have it on auto fill from the tank and auto dump.

On some of the jobs I do I lose 25ft getting  to the door. I still think its better "personally" Horses for courses I suppose.

95% of property only requires 50ft from the door so even if you use 25ft getting to the door that's only 75ft of hose so no real problem.

Most of the enforcers are in series , so if you put a single vac booster inline ...    the lift would drop to that of the booster , so you would loose the benefit of the second series vac in the enforcer .
would work fine on a parallel machine .

just remember that it just like a car with power to weight. but is distance from machine in our case. Reason TMs have all that power and heat is to get hot water to the wand at really long distances and the recover it.

If anyone is thinking of trying it out the easiest thing to do is test it out. Just add more hose to your porty and give it a go. That's what I did and I found I was happy working out to 100ft with no adverse effects. All it takes is some extra hose which if bought can always be used somewhere down the line. Or borrow some from another carpet cleaner.
