Thought i would ask you guys where is a good place for waterproofs for winter. Also need some trainers/boots too.
Whilst im at it, also want to get a electric heater to put in the van for when it gets cold overnight, looking for one possibly with automatic timers though, so its not on all night, just a comes on every now and then to maintain a temperature.
Any recommendations?

i use an oil filled radiator left on all night(i think it was around £40 from argos) in the van when below freezing at night.as for waterproofs i buy goretex boots/rain pants/jackets from any outdoor store.usually berghaus/north face/sprayway etc.
TKMAXX is usually good for ski pants (for when its really cold) for around £30-40 a pair.black rigger boots from b and q too.

Tkmax is great for bargains, esp waterproof coat n bottoms.
Till i source and fit an emersion heater later this month, i use a thermostat radiator with a digi timer plug (couple of quid from Asda) i have it turned on about 3 time during night.
