On reflection, had a bad day, and made a mountain out of a molehill.

wasn't happy with customer service.
Never heard that from  Gardiner before. They are fantastic, well Mr. A. Gardiner is :)

Anyways , what customer service got to do with how good their poles are?
Can't fault their customer service , they'll go out of their way to help you

This has always been my experience with them too. First rate. Can't see what your problem was but they have always worked hard to keep me satisfied even down to sending me a small bolt that wasn't listed as a spare part on their website.
